There’s something special about wedding details that still feel right years later.
This wedding from 2018 is one of my favourites, not just because of the botanical leaf wedding car sticker, but because of how personal every detail felt.
Melissa and Thomas even had a name for their beloved 1966 VW Beetle: “Lucy the Love Bug.”
How sweet is that?
“Lucy the Love Bug” wasn’t just a car, she was part of the story.
Instead of over-decorating it, Melissa and Thomas kept everything thoughtful and intentional:
Nothing felt excessive. Every detail felt like them.
Because when your wedding reflects you, it never goes out of style.
One of the most memorable ideas from this wedding was using the front boot of Lucy the Love Bug as a welcome drinks bar.
It’s such a simple idea, but incredibly effective. It turned something personal into something shared:
This wedding took place in 2018 — and nothing about it feels outdated. That’s not by accident.
The design choices focused on:
When you choose details like this, your photos don’t age.
They become something you’ll always love looking back on.
If you want your wedding details to feel timeless, take a note from this:
Your wedding doesn’t need more decoration. It needs more you.
Years from now, you won’t remember every trend.
But you will remember the details that felt personal.
Like Lucy the Love Bug, quietly enjoying the attention and being part of Melissa & Thomas’s love story.
This botanical leaf wedding car sticker was designed to feel elegant, personal, and still just as beautiful years later.
Because the smallest details often become the most memorable 🤍
